Position Title: Data Modeler

Location: Remote

Clearance Requirements: None

Rate: $40/hr - $42/hr on W2

Position Description:

Seeking a skilled Data Modeler to design and implement enterprise data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) that ensure trusted, reusable, and secure data across various organizational domains. This role involves collaborating effectively with governance, engineering, architecture, analytics, security, and development teams to establish modeling standards aligned with industry best practices. The ideal candidate will translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable documentation and diagrams, supporting data quality, lineage, privacy, and performance objectives. Must possess strong business acumen, critical thinking, and keen attention to detail to design scalable, cost-effective data solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Top Requirements:

• 3-5 years of extensive experience in enterprise-scale data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) across relational and data warehouse environments
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience working with MS Azure data services, including Synapse, SQL Database, and Data Lake technologies
• 1-2 years of experience in Power BI semantic modeling, KPI development, and alignment
• Strong expertise in SQL with 3-5 years of practical experience
• Familiarity with banking, mortgage lending, and rental housing industries is preferred
