We are looking for: Automotive Software Engineer
Main responsibilities:
- Developing, configuring, and maintaining Yocto-based Linux BSPs for automotive platforms
- Implementing, debugging, and optimizing low-level system software, including device drivers, system daemons, and platform services
- Working on bootloaders, kernel, and system integration
- Developing and maintaining software in C/C++ for system services and middleware
- Integrating third-party libraries, hardware abstraction layers, and vendor SDKs (TelSDK, etc.)
- Supporting power management, suspend/resume, connectivity and telematics features
- Writing technical documentation and supporting customer integration teams
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in embedded Linux BSP and system programming. Proven experience in the telematics and automotive industry
- Strong experience with Yocto Project (layers, recipes, customization)
- Proficiency in C/C++ development for embedded Linux (system daemons, middleware)
- Experience with version control (Git/Gerrit)
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with ability to support customer discussions
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and tools
