Your Role And Responsibilities

To unlock Confluent’s full potential, we’re growing our Continuous Delivery tooling team—an essential group responsible for powering the automation behind Confluent Cloud service delivery. This is a high-impact, strategic investment area that directly improves R&D engineering productivity, strengthens compliance, and accelerates our operational maturity at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build scalable Golang-based tooling that enables Confluent Cloud teams to deliver software safely, securely, and efficiently
• Own and drive end-to-end execution of complex projects in production environments, with a strong focus on quality and reliability
• Apply industry best practices and modern design patterns to create innovative, best-in-class solutions
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders, bringing a customer-first mindset to support a wide range of use cases and teams

Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or cloud networking
• Strong foundation in systems design, development, and low-level concepts (OS, networking, storage)
• Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems
• Proficiency in Go, C++, Python, or other statically typed languages
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)

• Experience working on developer productivity tooling
• Experience with EKS, GKE or AKS specific Kubernetes distributions
