- Execute, maintain and improve manual test cases in Azure DevOps, including updating test steps, logging defects, and verifying bug fixes through retesting.
- Support testing teams in preparing, configuring, and maintaining test equipment required for Component, Integration, and E2E testing activities.
- Reproduce and simulate defects observed in the field using a specialized test bench setup contributing to root-cause analysis and faster defect resolution together with senior team members.
- Help capture, retrieve, and analyze logs from IoT devices, identify and investigate unusual behaviors or anomalies contributing to ensure device functionality and stability.
- Assist in using packet analyzer tools like tcpdump or Wireshark to capture and analyze network traffic within the edge network. You will gather evidence and insights under supervision for assessments.
- Maintain technical documentation, dashboards, and inventories, ensuring test resources and information are available for the team whenever required.
- Advanced bachelor's or master’s student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- A conceptual understanding of software development and testing principles, with a willingness to learn more in this area.
- Some hands-on experience with embedded devices (e.g. Raspberry Pi) as well as working with the terminal and Linux environment is beneficial.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python, C++, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Familiarity with API testing, Project Management tools (ADO/Jira) are considered beneficial.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience writing queries to retrieve and validate device and cloud-side data.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, IP-based protocols, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Strong interest in IoT systems and cloud–edge architectures, with eagerness to learn modern testing tools and methodologies
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment, helping others, and asking for support when needed.
- Ability to independently investigate issues, analyze technical information, and contribute to problem-solving in testing and integration activities.
