We’re partnering with a fast-growing HealthTech scale-up in Germany that is revolutionizing how patients transition from hospitals to aftercare (nursing homes, rehab, and home care). Having established strong traction with a platform used by hundreds of hospitals, they are now expanding their product suite to include voice-native and mobile-first solutions.

The focus is on the Voice Native product—a critical tool designed to handle the complexities of digital discharge management with the speed and accessibility of a mobile-first interface.

This is a high-impact role where you will define the technical direction of a core mobile product, ensuring the architecture is robust, secure, and performant enough to support healthcare professionals in high-pressure environments.

The Role

This role is centered on technical excellence and the architectural evolution of a mobile-first platform.

Rather than just executing tasks, your focus will be on owning the technical roadmap for the Voice Native product, creating the structures that allow for complex, stateful mobile interactions, and ensuring the engineering team can deliver with both speed and quality.

You’ll:

• Take technical end-to-end responsibility for the Voice Native mobile product.
• Own the technical direction and design of the architecture, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery.
• Mentor and coach engineers through regular code reviews, architectural guidance, and technical support.
• Drive engineering health through performance optimization, observability, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure the highest standards of privacy and security within a complex healthcare environment.
• Support long-term product health, balancing feature delivery with pragmatic management of technical debt.

What we’re looking for

• Significant professional experience in software development within product-led environments.
• Deep expertise in React Native and the TypeScript ecosystem.
• Proven ability to build and architect complex, stateful mobile user interfaces.
• Solid fundamentals in modern CI/CD and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Detox).
• A "builder" mindset with a clear interest in deep engineering topics like caching, pipelines, and mobile performance.
• Clear, direct communicator who can align technical strategy with product goals.
• Pragmatic approach, focused on outcomes that solve real user problems in healthcare.
• Experience in high-growth or regulated environments is highly beneficial.
