Join the People Analytics team at Julius Baer to help drive data-informed people decisions across the organization. We are seeking data professionals to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality analytics solutions using modern data platforms and visualization tools. In this role, you’ll play a key part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic HR and business objectives.
This is a fixed-term opportunity for 12 months, ideal for candidates looking to apply strong technical and analytical expertise in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The roles are based in Zurich and you will be part of a wider HR Services and Digital HR function responsible for HR technologies, operations, and analytics.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end analytics workflows — from data extraction and transformation to visualization and insight generation
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, ensuring usability and impact for business stakeholders
- Leverage Dataiku as a core platform for data preparation, automation, collaboration, and model lifecycle management, building scalable data pipelines and models, integrated within enterprise environments
- Partner closely with HR and cross-functional stakeholders (including Finance, Transformation, and Executive Offices) to understand business questions and translate them into analytical solutions
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance throughout the analytics value chain
- Apply statistical thinking and exploration analysis techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and recommendations in people data
- Collaborate effectively within the team and across disciplines, sharing knowledge and contributing to continuous improvement
- Demonstrated proficiency with Tableau for creating clear and impactful data visualisations and self-service products
- Hands-on experience with Dataiku or similar data science/workspace platforms (such as Alteryx, Databricks)
- Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and best practices in data cleaning and validation
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working independently on complex datasets
- Excellent interpersonal skills — collaborative, reliable, and proactive in managing tasks and deadlines
- A degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Data / Computer Science, Engineering, Psychology or similar)
- Fluency in English
