You’ll bring deep technical leadership across Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, Dynamics 365 CE, Copilot Studio and related Azure services. As a Lead Power Platform Developer, you will be expected to own the technical quality of delivery, guide other developers, make pragmatic design decisions, and work closely with Solution Architects to turn complex requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable solutions.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will still build solutions, but you will also set standards, review technical approaches, unblock delivery teams, influence architecture, and ensure that Power Platform solutions are delivered safely in enterprise and secure environments:
Required Skills:
- Expert-level experience developing Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps and modern Power Apps experiences, including custom pages, reusable components and complex user journeys.
- Deep Dataverse expertise including data modelling, relationships, security roles, environments, and solution design
- Active SC Clearance or eligibility for Security Clearance
- Strong experience designing and building enterprise-grade Power Automate cloud flows (error handling, performance, monitoring, best practices)
- Solid background developing or leading Dataverse plug-ins, Custom APIs, and server-side business logic using C#.
- Strong understanding of PCF development using TypeScript/React (performance, accessibility, packaging, deployment)
- Experience designing and delivering Copilot Studio solutions, including topics, actions, knowledge sources, generative answers, Power Automate integration, authentication, Dataverse-backed processes and enterprise governance considerations.
- Experience delivering Power Pages solutions, including security and Dataverse integration
- Strong understanding of Power Platform ALM and DevSecOps, (solutions, pipelines, Git/Azure DevOps, release management)
- Experience integrating Power Platform with external systems using custom connectors, APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus etc.
- Strong understanding of security, governance, and environment strategy across Power Platform
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues across Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, PCF, plug-ins, APIs and Azure integrations.
- Experience leading technical delivery, reviewing work, mentoring developers, setting coding and configuration standards, and ensuring solutions are secure, performant, maintainable and supportable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions, trade-offs, risks and solution designs to customers, architects, developers, testers and delivery leads.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-600, PL-200, AZ-204 or equivalent hands-on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical delivery of Power Platform solutions (Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio).
- Own detailed technical designs and guide architectural decisions.
- Build complex components including plug-ins, Custom APIs, PCF controls, integrations and automations.
- Review and assure developer work, setting standards and best practices.
- Lead ALM and DevSecOps implementation (solutions, pipelines, environments, governance).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-platform issues.
- Support presales, discovery, PoCs and technical shaping.
- Mentor and coach developers, fostering a high-quality, inclusive engineering culture.
Desirable Skills:
Candidates are expected to have some of the following skills;
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry and related Azure AI services (e.g. model selection, orchestration, or integration patterns)
- Experience developing or contributing to AI agents, conversational or autonomous, inside or outside of Copilot Studio
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, governance, and security considerations in enterprise environments
