Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 1 year of experience with Security and Vulnerability Assessment.
- 1 year of experience with Google3/Prod infrastructure.
- 1 year of experience with running vulnerability management programs, or exploiting vulnerabilities in Capture the Flags (CTFs).
Responsibilities
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Write product or system development code. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Address a wide array of largely unsolved problems in vulnerability management.
- Design works with software engineering efforts, as all Automated Vulnerability Management (AutoVM) execution hinges on large-scale, software-heavy components.
