Summary
The Ash Group is hiring a Software Sales Engineer for our client, a premier network integrator and provider of next-generation, multi-vendor "Factory Built Networks®" and optical domain control software. This is a full-time position working in Richardson, TX (Onsite) preferred offering a salary around 125-130K plus commission based on skillset.
Role Details
- Compensation: Around 125-130K plus commission
- Location: Richardson, TX preferred (Onsite) but open to New York Tri-State area, Washington D.C./Northern Virginia (NoVA), Dallas–Fort Worth, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle/Bellevue, Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, Austin, Los Angeles, Denver/Boulder, Boston, Columbus, OH, Portland (Hillsboro), and Raleigh–Durham
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the primary technical resource for the sales team in customer engagements for Software Solutions.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to gather customer requirements and map solutions to business needs.
- Deliver high-impact product demonstrations tailored to customer environments.
- Create and present solution architectures, integration strategies, and technical documentation for proposals and RFP responses.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to relay customer feedback and influence the product roadmap.
- Support proof of concept (PoC) deployments, trials, and pilot projects, ensuring customer success from technical evaluation to deployment.
What We’re Looking For
- Must have 3+ years of telecom/optical networking industry experience
- Optical transport/networking knowledge is required
- Must have experience with MNS platforms and understanding how they communicate with OSPS
- SONET knowledge/experience is a must
- Strong customer-facing personality is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must
- Ability to explain technical solutions to customers
