Currently, we are looking for an APEX Developer.
Job location: Hybrid from Bucharest, Romania.
The APEX Developer is responsible for building and supporting Oracle Application Express (APEX) applications that extend Oracle SaaS ERP functionality. This includes developing forms, reports, dashboards, and workflow tools that interface securely with Oracle Cloud systems and external data sources.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Develop responsive and user-friendly applications using Oracle APEX
- Create dynamic forms, reports, charts, validations, and page processes
- Implement workflows and business logic using PL/SQL and JavaScript
- Retrieve and display data from Oracle Cloud ERP using REST APIs, web services, or external tables
- Use BIP reports or OTBI outputs as integration sources when necessary
- Conduct unit testing and support system/integration testing
- Debug page and session issues using APEX utilities and browser developer tools
- Maintain documentation for application logic, interface definitions, and deployment procedures
- Apply patches, enhancements, and support defect fixes
- Work under the guidance of senior developers and architects
- Coordinate with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into applications
- 3–5 years of experience in Oracle APEX application development
- Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and APEX components
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud/SaaS architecture and basic REST API usage
- Ability to work with page items, dynamic actions, interactive reports, and LOVs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Exposure to Oracle ERP Cloud module data (e.g., Financials, SCM)
- Experience using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for API integrations
- Basic understanding of Oracle Autonomous Database (ADB) and Oracle Identity integration
