Why This is an Exciting Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
- Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Work closely with the Chief Engineer to design feature specifications and build products
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance
- Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems

Required Education and Years of Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited course of study and 20+ years of professional experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
- An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components
- Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software
- Experience with the following software development skills:
- Git
- Java, C++, Python
- Relational database such as Postgres
- SQL
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with:
- Docker/Kubernetes
- HAProxy
- Nginx
- Elastic Stack

Summary Pay Range:
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$187,000 - $250,000
