The Role
- Design and deliver production AI features within a modern C# / .NET ecosystem and AWS cloud environment.
- Integrate commercial AI APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Bedrock) with a focus on reliability, cost control, and structured outputs.
- Set the standard for AI adoption, leading the team in AI-assisted development using tools like Cursor and Claude Code.
- Build resilient systems with deep observability, using SQL (MariaDB/MySQL) and RESTful API versioning.
- Collaborate via the Shape Up methodology to move from concept to user-facing AI capability rapidly.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 5 years focused on C# and .NET Core.
- Proven track record of shipping AI-powered integrations into live production environments (not just prototypes).
- Deep expertise in prompt design, tool use, and function calling with paid LLM providers.
- Strong architectural skills in microservices, distributed systems, and secure-by-design principles (ISO 27001).
- A passion for AI-assisted workflows and the ability to mentor other engineers on modern AI development tooling.
