ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Product Development Assistant to support the day-to-day product development process across upcoming collections.

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience within a fast-growing fashion brand and is excited about learning more about product, fit, development, and the creative process behind building collections.

You’ll work closely with the creative and product team helping support everything from technical flats and sample organization to fittings, product reviews, and development tracking.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, visually aware, and genuinely interested in fashion and product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

• Assist with creating technical flats and simple garment mockups in Adobe Illustrator

• Help organize tech packs, spec sheets, and product development files

• Support the team with tracking measurements, fit updates, and sample revisions

• Attend fittings and take notes on fit changes and garment adjustments

• Assist with reviewing incoming samples for overall quality, fit, and accuracy

• Help track sample timelines and development updates with factories

• Support seasonal product organization and development documentation

ORGANIZATION + OPERATIONS

• Help maintain organization within the product room and sample inventory

• Organize fabrics, trims, reference garments, and development materials

• Assist with preparing and updating spreadsheets, trackers, and overview documents

• Help ensure samples and development materials are properly labeled and organized

DESIGN + CREATIVE SUPPORT

• Support the design team with day-to-day product and creative tasks

• Assist with creating visual references, mockups, and presentation materials

• Help support the overall direction and cohesion of upcoming collections

• Gain hands-on exposure to the full product development process from concept to final sample

WHO YOU ARE

• 1–2 years of experience or education in fashion product development, apparel design, technical design, or a related field

• Familiar with Adobe Illustrator + Photoshop, and comfortable creating basic technical flats

• Understanding of garment measurements, fit, and apparel construction

• Very organized with strong attention to detail, this is especially important in this role as you will be involved in tech pack development, sample tracking, etc

• Comfortable using spreadsheets and keeping files organized

• Strong interest in lifestyle/streetwear fashion and product development

• Eager to learn and grow within a collaborative creative environment

• Positive attitude with strong communication skills and willingness to take feedback

• Salary: $50,000–$65,000 CAD (based on experience)
