Project Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Project Engineer to be based at our office / customer’s site in Montoir

Role Summary

The Project Engineer will lead and support industrial performance initiatives within the Montoir perimeter, with a strong focus on project management, process optimisation, lead‑time reduction, and LBIP gate management. The role requires a structured, results‑driven professional capable of coordinating stakeholders, analysing processes, and driving improvement actions to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management — Lead, plan, and coordinate improvement projects across the Montoir perimeter.
• Process Management — Analyse, map, and optimise industrial processes to improve flow and reduce inefficiencies.
• Lead‑Time Reduction — Identify bottlenecks, define corrective actions, and implement solutions to reduce manufacturing and support function lead times.
• LBIP Gate Management — Prepare, manage, and monitor LBIP gates, ensuring compliance with governance and project maturity requirements.
• Stakeholder Coordination — Engage with production, ME, quality, logistics, and support teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of actions.
• Performance Tracking — Monitor KPIs, risks, and milestones; prepare progress reports for leadership.
• Continuous Improvement — Apply Lean, DMAIC, and other improvement frameworks to drive operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Aerospace & Manufacturing Background — Experience in industrial or aerospace production environments.
• Process Management Expertise — Strong understanding of process mapping, optimisation, and industrial flows.
• Lead‑Time Reduction Experience — Proven track record of delivering measurable reductions in operational lead times.
• LBIP Experience — Hands‑on experience managing LBIP gates and project governance.
• Stakeholder Management — Ability to influence, coordinate, and communicate across multiple levels.
• Strong Results Orientation — Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes, drive actions, and maintain momentum.
• Analytical & Structured Mindset — Capable of diagnosing issues, defining solutions, and ensuring implementation.
