Senior Backend Developer

The Senior Backend developer is a position responsible for the implementation of digital projects for the companies' clientele, in close collaboration with the other members of the Significa Team. The ideal candidate will focus on the creation of high value web and mobile applications, addition of new features to existing projects and will be committed to implementing solutions to meet challenging and advanced requirements.

He/she will work together with the other members of the Development Team and maintain open communication with the Company's Project Management, UX/UI and Customer Support Teams, to ensure high quality deliverables. He she must be able to punctually deliver functional custom components and verify that the deliverables meet all technical requirements.

He/she will report daily to the Team's leader to ensure that delivery times and quality standards are always met.

Main Responsibilities

• Creation of high-performance websites and web applications.
• Development of integrations with external systems and web services.
• Addition of new features and components to existing client solutions.
• Delivery of updates and amendments to existing applications.
• Support/help junior devs when needed
• Participates in technical discussions with the company's customers
• Support/Debugging of existing applications.

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
• At least 5+ years of experience in an equivalent position
• Efficient use of Microsoft Visual Studio
• Very good knowledge of C# and ASP.Net MVC. Working knowledge of .NET 5+ is a plus.
• Excellent grasp of web technologies (server/client, web services, SOA and orchestration, etc)
• Experience in at least one of the following CMS platforms — Umbraco, Sitecore, or Kentico — is a major plus
• SOLID principles
• OWASP principles
• Working knowledge of HTML5
• Knowledge of Git source control system
• Very good knowledge of the English language, oral and written
• Ability to work in a containerized (Docker) development environment is a major plus

• Ability to develop, maintain and troubleshoot mid-level to complex applications
• Diligence in production of quality, testable code
• Comply to corporate processes and procedures
