MES Technical Lead

Must-Haves

• 6+ years of experience working on and expertise knowledge of MES (manufacturing execution systems)
• Experience and ability to design MES solutions for feature adds, upgrades, enhancements, etc. for applications or systems involved in factory manufacturing processes
• Strong technical knowledge of SQL database.
• Strong coding knowledge (Java, Python, .Net, C#, C++, etc.) to advise and strategize with technical development teams
• Solid conceptual understanding of cloud environments, ML, AI, and Digital Twins
• Ability to understand a business case/requirements, recommend appropriate technical designs & solutions, and take accountability for the execution of designs
• Strong written & verbal communication, attention to detail, problem solving, interpersonal and leadership skills to articulate insights, challenges, and solutions to senior and executive leadership

Plusses

• Experience with GE Proficy Smart Factory MES
• Understanding of Azure Cloud platform

Insight Global is looking for a Lead MES Solution Engineer to join a large food & beverage client in Plano, TX. This Lead MES Engineer will be responsible for creating and executing solutions for the manufacturing supply chain systems across all North American manufacturing facilities from an IT perspective. This resource will work closely with engineering teams and business supply chain teams to understand the business cases, create and recommend full end-to-end solutions, and oversee the execution of new designs. This individual will oversee the addition of new features and upgrades to an existing MES through newer technologies such as machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and digital twins. The Technical Lead will work with development teams to drive forward coding and architecture strategy. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge around MES and be able to interface with technical teams and business units to ensure initial ideas are conceptualized into the final product.
