Senior Software Engineer - (Spring)

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Spring) to join their Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) Technology Team in Dublin on an 11-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a greenfield project using modern Spring-based technologies while collaborating across multiple technology and business teams.

The Team

Our client’s FFIO technology team designs, builds, and maintains technology solutions that support accounting and investment management services for internal business units and fund operations.

The delivery teams operate in small, multi-functional Agile squads, each aligned to specific business and technology goals defined at Tribe level. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, analysts, and partners across the organisation to modernise and extend key platform capabilities.

The Expertise Required

• 6–9+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Angular solutions
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end technical solutions in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
• Programming experience in one or more of: Java (or Groovy), TypeScript (Angular), JavaScript
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery environments
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers
• Experience in financial services (operations or technology) is beneficial
