Software Engineer (FIX Protocol) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in the FIX Protocol, you will design and maintain high-performance electronic trading connectivity solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication between trading platforms and exchanges, optimizing order management systems for speed and reliability.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain trading gateways and connectivity solutions using the FIX protocol.
• Implement and optimize order management systems (OMS) to handle high-volume electronic trading.
• Ensure low-latency messaging and reliable data transmission across financial exchange interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity and protocol-level issues in production trading environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement financial messaging standards and technical specifications.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Trading Systems, or Fintech.
• Proven expertise in implementing and maintaining the FIX protocol for electronic trading.
• Proficiency in building and optimizing order management systems and exchange gateways.
• Deep understanding of trading connectivity, financial messaging, and low-latency networking.
• Strong background in troubleshooting complex connectivity issues and message routing.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
