Indexed description

Our client is building an AI-powered dismantling platform to transform end-of-life electric vehicle systems into scalable sources of critical materials. As EV adoption accelerates, the volume of batteries and e-motors is rapidly increasing, creating a major industrial bottleneck where manual disassembly cannot keep up.

Our client is solving this with advanced robotics, computer vision, and AI-driven automation.

Following a successful Series A funding earlier in the year, the company is expanding across Europe and preparing for US market entry in 2026. You’ll be joining a well-funded, high-growth robotics business working with leading OEMs and industrial recyclers.

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Robotics Simulation Engineer to support the development of advanced industrial robotic systems. This is a key, high-priority hire due to business growth, where you will take ownership of building and scaling simulation environments for robotic manipulation. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will design and implement the simulation pipeline connecting:

  • 3D scanning
  • Robot programming
  • Validation workflows

…into a unified, production-ready simulation environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, evaluate, and implement the simulation stack for robotic disassembly cells
  • Develop high-fidelity simulations for industrial robot manipulation use cases
  • Develop an automated recipe validation pipeline to ingest 3D scans (battery packs, EV systems), simulate disassembly workflows, validate collisions, reachability & force constraints
  • Develop virtual commissioning & PLC emulation capabilities
  • Design multi-layer simulation fidelity for fast kinematic checks & high-fidelity dynamic simulations
  • Collaborate closely with robotics / middleware teams, perception & 3D scanning teams
  • Document best practices, validation workflows, and simulation standards

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in robotics simulation (industrial focus required)
  • Strong experience building or maintaining robotic simulation environments
  • Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim, KUKA.Sim, RoboDK (or similar tools)
  • Robot manipulation, motion planning, collision detection
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
  • Solid understanding across robot kinematics, dynamics and motion planning
  • Experience with PLC simulation is a big plus
  • Ability to work independently and build systems from scratch

Why Join?

  • Work on real-world industrial robotics problems with global impact
  • Join a fast-scaling, Series A-backed company
  • High ownership, autonomy and technical influence
  • Collaborate with a team of top-tier robotics engineers
  • Access to cutting-edge robotics and AI technologies
  • Rapid learning curve from day one

Why This Role Stands Out

This is not just a simulation role. You will define the simulation backbone of a next-generation robotics platform, directly influencing how complex EV systems are dismantled at scale. For more information, please apply here or reach out to [email protected]
