Data Scientist - Full Time
London - Hybrid
About the Role
Join my client's Operations Decision Support team to build AI-driven tools that improve operational decision-making across the airline.
You’ll work across the full data science lifecycle — from modelling to deployment — delivering solutions that have real-world impact at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop machine learning and optimisation models
- Build scalable data pipelines and production Python code
- Deploy models using CI/CD and cloud platforms
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams
- Translate business problems into data science solutions
- Measure impact and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Python (pandas, numpy, sklearn)
- SQL and data engineering experience
- Understanding of machine learning and optimisation techniques
- Experience with cloud (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Airflow/Dagster
Nice to Have
- Experience with Gurobi or OR tools
- Exposure to logistics, airline, or transport industries
- Model deployment and production systems experience
Experience
- MSc in Data Science / ML / OR OR equivalent experience
- 0–2 years in a data science or ML role
