Building the Data Intelligence Layer for an Entire Industry

We’re building the data intelligence layer for an entire industry.

Our platform ingests, structures, and enriches large, fragmented datasets — transforming them into high-quality, decision-ready data products. Customers embed our data directly into their BI tools or use our lightweight reporting layer to drive critical decisions.

Already, our data is becoming deeply embedded in how leading companies operate.

Now, we’re entering the next phase: Applying AI to fundamentally change how data is collected, maintained, activated, and analyzed both internal and customer facing.

This is a pivotal moment to join — as we evolve from a data platform into an AI-powered data engine.

Own the Data & AI Platform

You will play a central role in building and scaling our data and AI platform.

Working directly with the founders, you’ll design and operate the systems that power our datasets — and increasingly, the intelligence layer on top of them. You’ll take ownership of how data flows through the company, from ingestion to end-user value.

This is not a pure infrastructure role. Your mandate is to turn complex, messy data into reliable, high-impact products.

Make an Impact

  • Architect and build scalable pipelines to ingest, normalize, and enrich complex datasets
  • Turn fragmented, real-world data into structured, high-quality data products
  • Own and continuously improve data quality, coverage, and freshness
  • Build data models and outputs that directly power customer-facing analytics
  • Apply AI to automate and improve how data is created, maintained, and validated
  • Partner closely with founders and customers to shape what gets built
  • Help define and evolve our AI + data stack as the landscape rapidly changes

Bring Your Experience to Scale the Platform

  • 5+ years in data engineering, backend engineering, or similar roles
  • Experience building and scaling production-grade data pipelines
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and working with large datasets
  • Experience applying AI/ML tools within data systems or workflows
  • Comfort working with ambiguous, messy, real-world data
  • Strong product instincts — you think about how data is used, not just built
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience turning unstructured data into product-grade insights
  • Background in early-stage or high-growth environments
  • Experience defining or influencing technical architecture

What You’ll Get in Return

  • Competitive base salary: $145K–$175K base
  • Stock options: 0.25%–0.40%, depending on experience and scope
  • Medical and dental coverage: Up to 100% covered for you, 75% coverage for dependents
  • 401(k) plan
  • 3 weeks of paid time off (4 weeks in Canada)
  • 1 company-wide soft close (1 week) during the winter holidays
  • Annual company retreat
  • Amazing office space in the heart of San Francisco’s Jackson Square if this is where you are based.
  • Financial incentives to electrify your commute (EV or e-bike)
