Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce's client in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Software Engineer. This role is an integral part of an innovative team tasked with supporting a digital transformation and system modernization project. The Software Engineer will support the design, development, testing and implementation of process control systems. Duties Include:

• The Software Engineer will support and contribute to the digital transformation of the business
• Understand requirements and identify improvement opportunities in conjunction with the operations teams
• As a Software Engineer, you will work with advanced analytics, realize concepts from research, and develop Machine Learning models for forecasting and set parameters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Software Engineer/Developer with minimum of 3+ years of experience developing in Java, C, C#, Visual Studio, R, and/or Python; Comfortable with both Linux and Windows environments
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to problem solve and multitask
• Experience with Tableau a plus
• Experience with SQL and Oracle a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
