AI Engineer

AI Engineer | Up to £100k | Remote (UK or EU)

A growing product-led company building AI systems that sit directly inside enterprise workflows. The platform processes sensitive commercial data, automates judgement-heavy tasks, and turns unstructured inputs into outputs that drive real decisions.

You’ll be working closely with product and design, with genuine ownership over what gets built and how. The team operates with a continuous delivery mindset, prioritising clean systems and long-term maintainability.

Role

Hands-on AI Engineer building and shipping production LLM systems and agent-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents for enterprise use cases such as extraction, reasoning, and summarisation
• Develop production-grade Python services powering AI workflows
• Work directly with users and product to translate messy problems into working systems
• Ensure strong standards across performance, reliability, and security
• Contribute to system design and architecture alongside delivery

Requirements

• Strong Python experience in production environments
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic
• Solid understanding of scalability, performance, and security in B2B systems
• Pragmatic approach, able to balance speed with maintainability

Nice to have

• AWS serverless experience (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
• Experience building agent-based systems (LangGraph, OpenAI Agents)
• Exposure to enterprise compliance standards (SOC2, ISO)
