What We Need
Kymeta is looking for an exceptional Software Engineer II, focused on building creative and innovative solutions software for our next generation R&D and manufacturing software. The SWEII is expected to collaborate within a cross disciplined team to create development plans and features in TDD technique. The candidate will also help on developing next generation production technology.
Experience
- 3+ years of overall software engineering experience using C# and Python. C/C++ are plus.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile/SCRUM. Collaborative team player with clear communication and documentation skills.
- 2+ years of experience of developing manufacturing test automation and performance characterization
- 2+ years of experience of developing software using VCS, CI/CD such as Git, Jenkins.
- 2+ years of experience developing software that interfaces with hardware devices, such as RF devices, network analyzers, and embedded systems via REST APIs, COM interfaces, and network protocols.
- Self-directed and motivated individual with a strong desire to breakdown larger problems into successful implementations.
- Motivation to understand how the system works as an entirety and the ability to focus on the details needed to drive
- Practical knowledge of antenna/satellite communications and RF Measurements
- Experience with advanced math skills (Statistics, Inferential statistics, linear regression)
- Practical knowledge of signal processing, control system design.
- Familiarity with electrical engineering principles for board bring up (schematic reading, timing)
- Experience with MATLAB
- Experience with Keysight PNA, Copper Mountain VNA
- Develop high quality test automation software that interacts with the various RF test & measurement equipment and robot.
- Formulate test strategies; creating test plans and test cases for regression, functional and performance testing; Analyze test results and prepare test summary reports.
- Report problems via the defect tracking system Analyze, research, and track software defects through their resolution. Verify code fixes and sign off on resolutions.
- Review and analyze software requirements for completeness, lack of ambiguity, and testability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical field (e.g., math, physics) required.
