Founding DevOps / MLops Engineer | Deep Tech - Fighting the Dark Side of AI - Remote/Bavaria

In this age of AI, one of the core challenges facing humanity is distinguishing between reality and fiction.

We are currently hiring for a VC-funded deep-tech AI forensics company that has taken up the mission of fighting AI-generated fakes - whether on social media, in banking, insurance, or any other industry that increasingly depends on verifying what is real at scale.

This is not another SaaS platform. This is a real high impact mission. For engineers, this means working on technically challenging problems at the intersection of AI, distributed systems, MLOps, security, and large-scale data processing - building production-grade systems that analyse manipulated media in real time while helping tackle one of the most critical cybersecurity and AI challenges of the next decade.

Following a recent funding round and growing adoption by major enterprise clients, they are now looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer to help scale the infrastructure behind the platform. You will work directly with the Co-Founder and CTO.

The role:

• Owning and scaling the cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Working with Docker, Infrastructure as Code, APIs, and scalable backend systems
• Collaborating closely with AI/ML engineers to ensure reliable deployment and operation of AI systems in production
• Helping shape the future tech landscape as the platform scales further over time
• High ownership, strong engineering autonomy, and direct collaboration with the founders

Tech stack:

Azure, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform/Bicep/TypeScript, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, MongoDB, REST/OpenAPI, and much more..

The company is specifically looking for engineers who are not just executors, but proactive builders and technical co-creators.
