THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL PRODUCT MANAGER ROLE


Most Product Managers execute on ideas from Sales or Marketing.


This role is the opposite.


You are not here to wait for direction.

You are here to define it, build it, and own it.


We are looking for builders, not coordinators.

THE OPPORTUNITY


This role is best described as a:


Business Builder inside Gizmospring

Mini-CEO of a new product line / business unit


You will:


  • Identify real problems worth solving
  • Propose and validate product opportunities
  • Build and launch products from 0 → 1
  • Own the P&L and outcome
  • Scale what works into a new business unit


Gizmospring provides the platform:


  • Design
  • Engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • Supply chain
  • Execution infrastructure


You bring:


  • The idea
  • The conviction

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (12–MONTHS)


  • You’ve identified a meaningful market pain point
  • You’ve launched at least one product people genuinely want
  • You’ve achieved early traction (revenue, users, or strong validation)
  • You are operating a growing product line / BU
  • You take full ownership of both wins and failures

  • Identify unmet needs through deep user understanding

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR


Proven Builder (Non-Negotiable)


  • Experience taking a product from 0 → 1
  • Evidence of real outcomes (not just participation)
  • Ability to independently drive product direction


Entrepreneurial Mindset


  • You think like an owner, not an employee
  • You are comfortable with risk, ambiguity, and accountability
  • You are resourceful and action-oriented


Product Thinking


  • Strong understanding of user needs and product-market fit
  • Ability to evaluate competitive landscape and positioning
  • You come with ideas you care deeply about solving


WHAT YOU MUST BRING


  • At least 1–2 product ideas you are passionate about
  • Clear articulation of:

-Problem

-Target user

-Existing solutions

-Gaps in the market

-Why you are the right person to solve it

OWNERSHIP & UPSIDE


This is not a traditional employment role.


We view this as a business partnership opportunity, where you are responsible for building and leading a new product line or business unit.


You will not be treated as someone executing tasks.

You will be treated as someone owning outcomes.


Compensation Structure


Base Pay


  • Provides stability during the build phase


Profit Share


  • Direct participation in the success of your product / BU


Ownership / Equity


  • Opportunity to earn meaningful ownership based on results and contribution


We don’t give ownership upfront — we build it together through results.
