Technical Architect to Custody Area

Assignment description
For our client we're looking for a Technical Architect to Custody Area, that can be the focal point of the Technical architectural deliveries - working closely with our program architect.

The area of Custody is currently undergoing a major transformation, implementing a new IT platform that will support our business and operation in future proofing the services in the area. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the transformation by working as a program tech lead in this initiative.

Your background

You have previous long experience from working as technical solution architect and tech lead where implementing complex solutions are part of your experience. It is a clear advantage if you have experience from data architecture, APIs, event driven design, component base and micro services architecture, cloud and Security.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead the design and implementation of complex end-to-end solution architectures in close collaboration with program- and solution architects
· Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions
· Define architecture covering data models, integration patterns, APIs, event-driven flows, and user experience
· Produce clear architectural documentation, including deployment flows, process descriptions, and models
· Collaborate across multiple teams, business units, and geographies to ensure alignment and delivery
· Work closely with infrastructure teams on topics such as networks, access management, and authorization
· Support and guide development teams in overall solution design and implementation

Experience & Competence
· Extensive experience as a Technical Solution Architect and/or Tech Lead, delivering complex solutions
· Strong background in modern architecture practices, including:
· Data architecture and data modelling
· API design and integration patterns
· Event-driven architecture
· Microservices and component-based design
· Cloud platforms and security principles
· Solid understanding of infrastructure-related areas (networks, identity & access management, security)
· Experience working with architectural frameworks, principles, and tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Archi)
· Proven ability to create documentation that is clear for both technical and business stakeholders

Additional Context
The assignment spans multiple business lines, products, and organizational units, making it both complex and impactful. You will work closely with engineering teams and the clients infrastructure organization to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. Experience within SEB and knowledge of Custody, Investments, or Post-Trade domains are considered strong advantages.
