We are looking for a AI Platform Engineer (m/f/d) for our existing client in the energy sector, starting July 1, 2026.
- Start Date: July 1, 2026
- End Date: December 31, 2026
- Capacity: 100% (Full-time, 160-180 h/month)
- Location: 100% Remote
- Platform Operations: Ensure stable and scalable operations of Kubernetes clusters and platform services on Azure.
- IaC & GitOps: Build reproducible infrastructure ("Everything as Code") using Terraform/OpenTofu and ArgoCD.
- CI/CD & DevEx: Develop standard GitLab CI/CD pipelines and robust self-service tooling to minimize developer complexity.
- Platform Evolution: Integrate modern AI and data services (e.g., Databricks, MS Foundry) and actively shape the architecture.
- Support & Collaboration: Advise platform users (Data Scientists, ML Engineers), resolve incidents, and continuously optimize UX.
- Core Tech: Solid production experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux-based systems.
- IaC & GitOps: Deep knowledge of Terraform/OpenTofu (modularization, state handling) and declarative deployments via ArgoCD.
- CI/CD & Cloud: Experience designing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and managing Microsoft Azure (networking, IAM, resources).
- Methodology & Language: Proficiency in agile frameworks (Scrum/SAFe) and business fluent English (C1).
- Several years of experience in Platform Engineering or building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).
- Experience in designing and building self-service architectures, e.g., via templates, APIs, or Golden Paths.
- Good knowledge of Python, especially for automation and tooling.
- Experience in observability (logging, monitoring, tracing) in distributed systems.
- Basic understanding of security and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
- Basic to advanced understanding of ML and MLOps processes.
- Experience with platforms like Databricks or Microsoft Foundry.
- Knowledge of Argo (e.g., Argo Workflows) or comparable orchestration tools.
- Experience with template engines like Copier or similar tools to enhance Developer Experience.
- Experience with open-source technologies and their integration into platform solutions.
- Business fluent English skills (C1), with strong communication skills in international teams.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and/or SAFe).
