And that starts with finding the right talent to help us get there.Position OverviewThe AI Engineer will be part of a fast‑moving engineering team developing AI‑driven solutions using modern, open‑source, and cloud‑native technologies. The role requires strong collaboration with senior engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to design, build, deploy, and optimize AI and machine learning models that drive business value.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sr‑Engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and define AI solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models, algorithms, and neural networks.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to support training and validation activities.
- Develop AI‑enabled application features using modular, maintainable code.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint reviews, and code reviews.
- Conduct impact analysis and contribute to low‑level design decisions.
- Deploy machine learning models to Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
- Monitor and iterate on AI model performance in production.
- Work with engineering and DevOps teams to operationalize AI solutions using CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of agile software development practices.
- Support the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical delivery.
- Works with both onsite (Scrum Master, Product, QA and Developers) and offshore QA team members in properly defining testable scenarios based on requirements/acceptance criteria.
- Work on a development team using agile methodologies.
- Understand the Business and the Application Architecture End to End
- Solve problems by crafting software solutions using maintainable and modular code.
- Participate in daily team standup meetings where you'll give and receive updates on the current backlog and challenges.
- Participate in code reviews. Ensure Code Quality and Deliverables
- Provide Impact analysis for new requirements or changes. Responsible for low level design with the team
- 8+ years’ experience in software engineering with at least 4 years in AI/ML.
- Hands‑on experience building ML models and neural networks.
- Strong programming skills in Python (Java/Scala is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), leveraging them to design, fine-tune, and build customized models and solutions tailored to specific business or user needs.
- Cloud AI deployment experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with data pipelines, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and CI/CD for AI workloads.
- Understanding of microservices, containers, and distributed systems
- Experience working on Patient Master Data Management (MDM) or healthcare data platforms.
- Familiarity with vector databases, Faiss, Milvus, or Pinecone for AI matching solutions.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
- Exposure to model monitoring, CI/CD, and MLOps practices.
- Full-time position, working 45 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate.
- Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
