Role Overview

We're seeking a Software Engineer (Generalist) to join our Hyderabad office for onsite, night-shift work. The ideal candidate is creative, rigorous, and adaptable—ready to take on diverse engineering challenges in a dynamic environment. Graduates from reputable universities with IT, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering degrees are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable software systems for Globalco's global clients

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers on new features and projects (proactive, creative, and impact-driven)

Write clean, testable, well-documented code and ensure high code quality through reviews and automated tests

Debug production issues, optimize performance, and contribute to platform stability

Participate in the full development cycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support

Adapt to shifting project requirements and quickly learn new technologies or tools as needed

Work effectively in an onsite, night-shift environment, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under tight timelines

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a reputable institution

Strong foundation in software engineering principles, algorithms, and system design

Experience with one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JS/TS, C#, Go, etc.)

Solid understanding of version control (preferably Git) and modern software development workflows

Proven ability to pick up new stacks, contribute creatively, and collaborate openly in dynamic teams

Preferred Attributes

Previous experience in multi-disciplinary software engineering teams or high-impact coding projects. Fresh graduates are open to apply.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and adaptability to a fast-changing tech landscape

Remuneration

Compensation range for Software Engineer (Generalist) onsite/night shift in Hyderabad (per Globalco rate card):

₹35,000 – ₹40,000/month (Junior)
