Your Efforts Will Have a Direct Influence On
- Time-to-market for new client dashboards
- Client satisfaction and retention
- SLA performance and reporting reliability
- Analytics delivery margins through efficient capacity use
Qualifications
Required
- 5-8 years of data engineering experience
- Strong SQL, data modeling, and hands-on Delta Lake experience
- Microsoft Fabric experience – you’ve built it, not just read about it
- Dimensional modeling you can defend in a design review
- Power BI semantic model optimization expertise
- A track record of building scalable ingestion frameworks
- A track record in client-facing or revenue-driven analytics environments
- Uses critical thinking to break down ambiguous problems, evaluates tradeoffs, and makes sound, data-informed decisions that balance performance, scalability, and business impact
- Strong leadership skills, exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, that translate complex technical decisions for non-technical audiences
- Experience working in agile environments using features and user stories
- A growth mindset — you're energized by hard problems, not slowed down by them, strong team player
- Agile mindset and development experience
- GitHub-based development workflows and CI/CD experience
- dbt experience
You think in terms of systems, not just individual tasks. You design for scalability before scale becomes an issue.
You write documentation that people actually read. You recognize that a slow dashboard is not just a technical problem; it's a client relationship issue.
You are the engineer who flags risks early, before they turn into incidents. You are dependable, detail-oriented, and collaborative. You take ownership of your work and consistently deliver high-quality results.
