AI Engineer – LLM Agents & Automation

We’re seeking an experienced AI Engineer to build production-grade LLM-powered agents that automate operational and finance workflows. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing reliable, auditable AI systems—not research.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy LLM-powered agents for workflow automation, document processing, validation, and exception handling.
  • Integrate agents with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and MCP servers.
  • Implement tool/function calling, guardrails, output validation, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Design observable systems with logging, audit trails, decision tracing, and cost monitoring.
  • Develop reusable AI engineering frameworks for prompts, evaluations, context handling, and testing.
  • Collaborate with business and engineering teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years building production AI/LLM applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and Java.
  • Experience with OpenAI, Claude, or similar LLM APIs.
  • Knowledge of MCP servers, function calling, multi-step agent workflows, and API orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of AI reliability, hallucination mitigation, rate limiting, and observability.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs, SQL databases, and enterprise platforms.
  • Strong coding, testing, and production engineering practices.

Nice to Have

  • RAG pipelines, vector databases, and document processing.
  • LLM evaluation frameworks and workflow orchestration tools like Temporal.
  • Experience in finance, operations, or compliance-focused environments.
