About The Role
As a Key Account Manager - Partnerships, you will be the driving force behind our SMB merchant portfolio growth and success. This role combines strategic partnership development with hands-on account management, requiring you to own business targets including gross monthly volumes, profitability metrics, and cross-selling initiatives. You'll be responsible for the complete partnership lifecycle - from initial prospecting and acquisition to ongoing relationship management and growth optimization. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact business growth while building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in the fintech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities aligned with business objectives
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective partners
- Lead joint marketing and promotional activities with partners
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to execute partnership initiatives
- Engage in senior-level conversations with CXOs and leadership, representing PayU’s interests
- Analyze campaign performance and ensure effective go-to-market (GTM) strategies
- Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities within fintech and payments
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in fintech, partnerships, sales, or business development
- Deep understanding of the payments and partner ecosystem
- Proven track record of building and managing high-value partnerships
- Experience with joint marketing initiatives and campaign management
- Comfortable engaging with leadership and CXO-level stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with GTM strategies
- Excellent communicator and team player, adept at cross-functional collaboration
