Job Title: Data Scientist – Marketing Measurement

About the Role

Join a rapidly expanding $35 billion global B2B business that is disrupting the status quo at the intersection of technology and retail. We are seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in marketing measurement, causal inference, and experimentation. You will be responsible for building data-driven products, formulating scientific visions, and delivering significant business impact through complex analytical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to measure channel effectiveness and optimize budget allocation.
• Build and refine CLV models to inform acquisition targeting and retention strategies.
• Design and analyze A/B tests and quasi-experiments (e.g., geo holdouts, synth-controls) to measure incremental lift.
• Partner with marketing teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for creative and channel mix.
• Work alongside ML engineers and business stakeholders to deploy measurement solutions into production.

Basic Qualifications

• PhD, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience building ML models or developing algorithms for business applications.
• Proven experience with A/B testing, difference-in-differences, and propensity scoring.
• Familiarity with cloud computation tools and proficiency in Python or R.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience specialized in marketing measurement models (MMM, CLV, Multi-touch Attribution).
• Experience designing and analyzing large-scale geo-experiments.
• Track record of publications in top-tier peer-reviewed journals or conferences (e.g., KDD, ICML, NeurIPS).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
