Senior Data Engineer (Top AI Company)

Focus Capital Markets Agentic AI spinoff is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build the AI data infrastructure that powers revenue generation for some of the top technology companies in the country.

In this role, you will partner with some of the top minds in technology and AI (including ex-FAANG, OpenAI, YCs, unicorn startups, top-5 hedge funds) to develop infrastructure pipelines, ETL, ELT, RAG architecture and LLM connectivity that powers agentic AI platforms and analytic engines. You will also help set the bar for engineering standards and code quality.

In addition to scaling the AI platforms, you will also participate in stakeholder build-outs that enable revenue generation. Fundamentally, the engineering functionality enables AI to make money.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer (or software engineer)
• 5+ years of professional experience working in Python
• Prior professional experience working with Gen AI, LLMs.
• Experience with Databricks is a plus
• Demonstrated experience working with RAG architecture and LangChain.
• Tangible experience working with ETL, relational databases, SQL, NoSQL or MongoDB
• AWS, GCP or Azure experience required
• Understanding of machine learning and ML Ops is ideal
• A bachelors or higher in computer science or a related field
• Must have excellent communication skills.
