As a Gen AI Data Engineer at S&P Global, you will slice and dice data, analyze information, communicate your findings, build GenAI pipelines and collaborate on product development. The outcome of your work will serve multiple business purposes, from commercialized software solution development, driving internal business decisions, to consulting external clients. You will be also responsible for GenAI application development.
Responsibilities
- Work on GenAI/LLM data pipelines and applications
- Build agentic frameworks with GenAI
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Close collaboration with software developers and machine learning engineers in the implementation of analytical models into production or commercialization.
- Develop and utilize algorithms to perform error analysis to improve model uniformity and accuracy.
- Comfort working in a very dynamic, research-oriented team with several projects under construction in parallel.
- 2+ years of python programming experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field: Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.
- Proven experience as a Python Developer
- Proficiency with data mining, knowledge of probability theory and statistical techniques, ML, data pipelines, etc.
- Experience accessing and manipulating data in SQL database environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate with management, reservoir characterization teams, engineering teams, clients, and other stake holders.
- GenAI/LLMs experience/exposure including langchain and langgraph
- Familiar with RAG approaches and how to implement.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Experience with object-oriented programming in Python.
- Knowledge of deep learning and related toolkits.
- Excellent Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to confidently present your own ideas and solutions, as well as guide technical discussions.
