We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Commercial Lines team. The Senior Account Executive is an experienced professional who has strong technical expertise, a consultative mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.


As a Senior Account Executive, you will serve as a trusted advisor and primary relationship manager for a portfolio of commercial clients. You will partner closely with Producers and carrier partners to design and manage comprehensive insurance programs, ensuring clients are well-protected and positioned for long-term success. The Commercial Lines Account Executive plays a critical role in driving business development, strengthening client relationships, and growing the commercial book of business.


This role offers high visibility, client ownership, and the opportunity to work on complex accounts across a variety of industries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor for a portfolio of commercial clients
  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive insurance programs tailored to client risk profiles
  • Lead renewal strategy, including marketing, carrier negotiations, and coverage optimization
  • Provide proactive risk management guidance and identify coverage gaps and emerging exposures
  • Partner closely with Producers to support client retention, growth, and new business initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners and negotiate favorable terms
  • Oversee policy lifecycle including endorsements, renewals, and documentation with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Maintain data integrity and documentation within agency management systems


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Commercial Lines experience within an independent agency environment
  • Strong technical knowledge across multiple lines of coverage (e.g., GL, Property, Auto, Umbrella, Workers Comp)
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and client relationships
  • Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty license
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (Applied Epic preferred)
