Agentic AI Engineer

We’re partnering with an early-stage team rethinking how software is secured in an AI-driven world. Code is being generated faster than it can be reviewed, understood, or protected. They’re building systems that can reason about that code, find real vulnerabilities, and continuously improve security in production environments.

This isn’t research for the sake of research. These are production systems operating in unpredictable environments where reliability and iteration speed are everything.

You’ll be joining early, working directly on core systems, and shaping how agentic AI is applied to real-world security problems.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and ship production AI systems that understand and reason about code, behavior, and risk
  • Design agent workflows that plan, execute, validate, and iterate across complex security tasks
  • Turn ambiguous ideas into working systems, then harden them for real-world use
  • Develop evaluation frameworks to measure correctness, reliability, and system performance over time
  • Work across the stack, contributing to backend systems, infrastructure, and model orchestration
  • Partner closely with engineering and product to integrate AI systems into core user workflows

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping real systems
  • Proven experience working with AI systems in production, not just prototypes or demos
  • Strong backend engineering skills (Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, or similar)
  • Experience building or working with agentic systems (tool use, planning, memory, execution loops)
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and owning problems end-to-end

You may be a fit if you:

  • Have experience building systems that work with code (analysis, generation, transformation, or tooling)
  • Hands-on work with LLM orchestration, evaluation pipelines, or system reliability
  • Background in security, infrastructure, or complex distributed systems
  • History of building fast, iterating quickly, and shipping consistently
