Position Overview
CESCO is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to develop and grow Territory 3, covering Florida and South Georgia.
This is not a transactional counter-sales position. We are looking for a driven relationship builder who can work directly with industrial contractors, corrosion control companies, manufacturing facilities, municipalities, and industrial service providers.
The ideal candidate understands how to create long-term customer relationships, identify project opportunities, and position value-based solutions in highly competitive industrial environments.
This role requires someone comfortable operating in the field, visiting job sites, walking industrial facilities, and becoming a trusted technical resource for customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and grow existing customer accounts within the assigned territory
- Prospect and secure new industrial contractor relationships
- Call on blasting and painting contractors, tank rehabilitation companies, corrosion control specialists, industrial manufacturers, shipyards, and municipalities
- Identify large project opportunities and specification-driven sales opportunities
- Conduct field visits, job site evaluations, and customer product demonstrations
- Work closely with inside sales and operations teams to support customer needs
- Maintain strong pipeline management and territory organization
- Travel throughout the assigned territory on a regular basis
- Position CESCO as a technical resource and solution provider rather than simply a supplier
- Assist customers with equipment recommendations, abrasive selection, productivity improvements, and operational efficiencies
- Maintain professional communication and follow-up with customers
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong outside sales experience
- Industrial sales experience preferred
- Experience in abrasive blasting, industrial coatings, painting, construction, corrosion control, welding supply, industrial distribution, compressed air, or related industries is highly preferred
- Ability to build relationships with field personnel, project managers, estimators, and business owners
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory
- CRM and basic computer proficiency
- Professional appearance and communication style
