We are looking for a talented and passionate candidate to join our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) group in Pune to help bring innovative, next-generation capabilities to our PLM products.
In this position, you will be joining our team working on our Windchill Risk & Reliability product (WRR) to enhance its capabilities to meet growing demand in the marketplace. You will work with others in , as well as with other globally distributed teams and individuals.
Day-To-Day
As a team member, you will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality releases using Agile/Scrum methodologies. On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- lead architectural activities to produce robust design solutions to meet business requirements for new product features
- implement performant, high-quality features, adhering to secure coding practices, backed by automated tests
- oversee the implementation of product features by team members, providing technical direction and oversight
- participate in team design and architecture reviews, providing critical feedback towards establishing to ensure technical best practices
- drive continued improvement in code quality through detailed and collaborative code reviews, identifying opportunities for code reuse, and championing necessary automated test coverage
- help in planning feature development by coordinating with stakeholders; provide estimates of the work; perform capacity planning, and report on progress against release dates.
- learn and stay abreast of new technologies and architectural patterns that could be leveraged to improve the product
- assist customer support staff in triaging and investigating customer reported issues, and provide subsequent recommendations for an appropriate resolution
- prepare design documentation
- participate in code reviews
- write automated tests
- troubleshoot and fix bugs
- Strong proficiency in Windows/.NET application development
- Strong proficiency in development using C++, C#, .NET, Visual Studio, and related technologies
- Development experience of RESTful web services; familiarity with the OData specification is a plus
- Strong knowledge in architectural and system design, algorithms, data structures, problem solving and troubleshooting
- Able to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks
- Self-motivated and driven for results
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical field
