- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure applications using ASP.NET Core Web API and .NET Core in a Payments environment.
- Lead full stack development across Angular (v2–8) and Node.js, delivering responsive and high‑quality user experiences.
- Optimize SQL databases, queries, and data models to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to convert requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
- Ensure solutions align with payments industry standards, security controls, and compliance best practices.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in full stack development using ASP.NET Core Web API, .NET Core, SQL, Angular (2–8), and Node.js.
- Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale applications within the Payments domain.
- Proven ability to apply secure coding practices, performance optimization, and industry compliance standards.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members.
- Experience leading code reviews and providing technical mentorship to junior and mid‑level developers.
- Working knowledge of payments platforms, digital transactions, or financial services systems.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for learning emerging technologies and continuously improving solutions.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
