The Mission

Enterprise AI is only as reliable as the knowledge it draws from. As organizations deploy AI agents, copilots, and automation at scale, they are discovering a hard truth: most enterprise knowledge is unstructured, ungoverned, and unfit for machines to trust.

Paligo exists to solve this. We are a fast-growing SaaS scale-up (80+ people, 450+ customers across 38 countries) offering an end-to-end Component Content Management System (CCMS). We enable global enterprises to create, manage, and deliver structured content where accuracy and governance are non-negotiable.

Our ambition is to evolve from a documentation platform into the structured content infrastructure that enterprises need to make AI trustworthy. We aren't just bolting on AI features; we are evolving a mature, enterprise-grade platform to unlock entirely new categories of value. That kind of evolution needs infrastructure that can keep up: resilient, secure, and built to scale without slowing down the teams building on top of it.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer III who takes genuine ownership of the systems they build. This is not a ticket-taker role. You will design, evolve, and safeguard Paligo's AWS-based cloud platform, making independent decisions day-to-day while collaborating closely with engineering teams to keep delivery fast and production rock-solid.

You'll report to the Engineering Operations Manager and work as a key contributor to operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Own the Platform: Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure to the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance.

Codify Everything: Maintain and evolve our infrastructure-as-code codebase so that infrastructure is version-controlled, reviewable, and reproducible.

Enable Fast Delivery: Build and maintain CI/CD and deployment processes that give development teams a stable, efficient foundation to ship on.

Stay Ahead of Incidents: Build and maintain observability and incident response practices that keep us highly available and fast to recover.

Raise the Bar: Continuously evaluate new AWS services and tooling, including agentic coding tools, to improve how we work.

Show Up When It Matters: Participate in on-call rotation, responding to incidents and alerts with urgency and care.

Must-haves

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of hands-on AWS infrastructure experience
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation or CDK. You don't need to know all of these, but you should be comfortable navigating the AWS ecosystem.
  • Comfortable scripting and automating in at least one general-purpose language (our stack uses TypeScript, Python, and some Go)
  • Experience with AI-assisted and agentic coding tools as part of real workflows
  • Clear, confident communicator — able to explain infrastructure decisions to non-infra colleagues

Nice-to-haves

  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer)
  • Experience in a fast-moving SaaS environment where uptime is non-negotiable
  • Awareness of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, least-privilege, encryption at rest/in transit)
  • Experience with observability tooling (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, or similar)
  • Has participated in an on-call rotation

How You Work

You take ownership and act with initiative. You're open about challenges early and collaborate to solve them. You care about developer productivity as much as your own, and you can explain what you're building, and why, to anyone in the room. You're ambitious, self-directed, and genuinely excited about growing your craft.

Why Join Paligo?

A Pivotal Moment: Join us as we scale the infrastructure powering the next generation of enterprise AI content, a category we believe is ours to shape.

Real Impact: The systems you build directly affect hundreds of global enterprises depending on Paligo every day.

Grounded Culture: We value clarity, craftsmanship, and substance over buzzwords.

Flexible & Global: A collaborative, remote-friendly culture with a strong presence in Stockholm.

Perks & Benefits: Competitive compensation, wellness allowance, professional development support, and of course, Swedish fika culture.

Location: Sweden, with remote flexibility in line with Paligo's hybrid policy. Occasional travel for company and team events.

The final step of our recruitment process is a mandatory background check, including a financial and criminal check. Any offer of employment is contingent on its successful completion.

Paligo is an end-to-end Component Content Management System (CCMS) solution for technical documentation, policies and procedures, knowledge management, and more.
