Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 + 5% bonus
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in technical or hardware product management, product innovation, or new product development within engineered products, manufacturing, or industrial technology environments.
- Demonstrated electrical and/or mechanical systems knowledge gained through hands‑on experience, manufacturing exposure, or close collaboration with engineering teams.
- Consistent track record leading complex, cross‑functional, matrixed teams and owning initiatives from concept through commercialization.
- Strong business and project leadership skills, including experience managing product roadmaps, priorities, and profitability.
- Experience collaborating with commercial organizations, including sales, marketing, distributors, contractors, and/or manufacturer’s representatives; data center, power, cooling, or infrastructure experience is helpful.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% annually, including domestic overnight travel and occasional international travel.
Job Description
Our client, a leader in global Data Center enclosure and cooling solutions, is looking for a Product Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of their standard products portfolio that support data center infrastructure. This person will help their organization create strategy for legacy products and new products under one standardized product offering. They will be given the keys to manage their product lines go to market-strategy. A typical day involves partnering closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to review product development progress, define technical requirements, and ensure new products are moving through the NPI and PDP processes on time. The role requires balancing both strategic and operational priorities—developing long-term product roadmaps and technology plans while simultaneously driving tactical execution such as product launches, go-to-market planning, and performance tracking. A typical product life cycle can take multiple years. Once a product is launched they will continue to keep out with supply chain and follow the products market strategy. They will continuously evaluate opportunities to improve product performance, differentiation, and overall portfolio profitability.
