This role manages larger and recurring initiatives such as milestone anniversary events, major community activations, and Maui-specific programs. The Event Strategist oversees and takes responsibility for promotional item program management, continuous improvement of event analytics, and deeper campaign integration across channels to drive consistent, high-quality event experiences.
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in event planning and execution, with demonstrated expertise in event logistics, vendor management, and merchandising.
- Knowledge of event marketing strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation, with a focus on external, member-facing events and campaign integration.
- Working knowledge of budgeting, vendor management, project coordination, promotional items, and performance measurement is required.
- Ability to independently manage the full event lifecycle while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and vendors.
