Position Summary

The Assembly Technician is responsible for installing parts as required to meet goals and objectives in compliance with standard work time.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Install parts-motors, consoles, lids, gunnel boards, hard tops, upholstery, helm seats, and tackle stations.
  • Must be able to follow all safety rules and hazardous material guidelines.
  • Able to follow directions.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to keep work area and nearby area clean at all times.
  • All other duties as might be required.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Read/Write/Understand English
  • Experience with different types of hand tools.
  • Experience with electrical a plus
  • Some dexterity
  • Ability to work with others.

Physical Demands

  • Standing/walking for long period of times.
  • Bending, kneeling (squatting), lifting, twisting continuously throughout the day.
  • Have the ability to move heavy objectives.
