Account Manager, Netherlands - Molecular Diagnostics

We are partnered with a leading global diagnostics organisation to recruit an experienced Account Manager for the Netherlands. This is an exciting opportunity to represent an innovative diagnostics portfolio while driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships across the healthcare sector.

As Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare professionals within the Molecular Diagnostics and Autoimmunity market. You will act as the main point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service while identifying new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities across the Netherlands
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, laboratories, and key stakeholders
• Manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations, tenders, forecasting, and account planning
• Deliver product presentations and provide application-level support alongside technical teams
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, and Back Office teams
• Maintain accurate CRM records, reporting, and forecasting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, or similar
• Minimum 3 years’ B2B sales experience within diagnostics, medical devices, or laboratory solutions
• Experience selling into hospitals and knowledge of public procurement processes is advantageous
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven
