Senior AI Engineer (Agentic)

We're hiring a Senior AI Engineer for a Series A NYC data/AI platform backed by Glasswing Ventures and MathCapital. The engineering team is more built-out than most Series A companies, so you'll have senior peers to work alongside and real scope to own.

About the role

You'll join a data platform expanding into agentic AI, shipping LLM-driven features on top of a mature data infrastructure. Expect real scale, real customers, and a fast-moving roadmap.

What you'll do

• Design and ship agentic features in production
• Build Python agent and RAG systems that plug into the core data platform
• Partner with senior engineers on architecture and platform decisions
• Scale the agent stack as the product expands into new use cases

What we're looking for

• Senior engineer with production experience shipping LLM and agent features
• Strong Python, LangChain/LangGraph, and RAG fluency
• Track record at a Series A or later company (no pure research profiles)
• Low ego, high ownership, comfortable moving fast with incomplete info
• NYC-based, hybrid

Nice to have

• Prior data platform or B2B SaaS experience
• Experience with agent evals and production LLM tooling
• Familiarity with vector DBs at meaningful scale
