Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy supervised and unsupervised models using Python, MLflow, and Databricks
- Collaborate on experimentation strategies, including A/B testing and causal inference
- Optimize model performance for latency, accuracy, and cost across cloud environments
- Contribute to the design of human-in-the-loop workflows and explainable AI systems
- Partner with data engineers to ensure robust data access and preprocessing
- Document model assumptions, limitations, and decision boundaries for transparency
- Data Scientists: Co-develop modeling strategies and validate performance metrics
- Data Engineers: Align on feature pipelines, data access, and model deployment infrastructure
- Product Managers: Translate business goals into ML use cases and success criteria
- Analytics Leads: Ensure model outputs are interpretable and actionable for stakeholders
- Governance & Ethics Teams: Collaborate on fairness, accountability, and risk mitigation
Minimum Experience: 3 years in data engineering or a closely related field
Preferred Experience: 5 years with hands on experience in Databricks or Spark based systems

- Communication: Explains complex modeling decisions to technical and non-technical audiences

Hours & Conditions: Monday – Friday 8-hour day in office setting
Physical Requirements: Minimal physical effort required, sitting / standing at computer for long periods of time. Ability to maneuver and lift up to 10 lbs.

Consistent with Massachusetts Pay Transparency Law, we’re sharing the base salary range for this position. Final pay within this range will be based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
