Senior Data Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer for a full-time, permanent role based in Melbourne, Australia, on a hybrid work setup, to support the design and delivery of enterprise-grade data solutions within a complex and large-scale environment, where you’ll work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with both technical and business teams to unlock the value of data.

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Data Lake)
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL
• Experience with dbt is a plus
• Proven experience working in large-scale, complex environments
• Experience in a consulting environment or client-facing roles would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
