Lead Agentic AI Engineer | Microsoft Partner | Germany / Austria

Multi-agent systems, ReAct loops, and autonomous AI orchestration have moved from research papers to production pipelines. This role sits at the centre of that shift.

A well-established Microsoft Partner is looking for a Lead Agentic AI Engineer to own the technical direction of their agentic AI capability from architecture through to delivery. You will work directly with enterprise clients, shaping how intelligent agents are designed, governed, and deployed at scale. If you want to build things that actually run in production and have direct conversations with the customers using them, this is the role.

The Role

• Define and lead the agentic AI roadmap - blueprints, model selection, framework evaluation, and governance structure
• Architect and deliver multi-agent systems using Azure AI Foundry, LangGraph, AutoGen, and related tooling
• Work directly with enterprise clients in a pre-sales and advisory capacity - this is a client-facing position
• Lead cross-functional teams across AI engineering, data engineering, and product to bring agentic solutions into production
• Evaluate emerging technologies (GraphRAG, agent swarm protocols, ReAct) and translate them into viable product decisions

What You Bring

• 7+ years in AI/ML engineering, platform architecture, or technical leadership, with hands-on experience building and shipping agentic AI solutions
• Deep practical knowledge of multi-agent architectures, LLM orchestration, and RAG - not just theoretical familiarity
• Proven experience with Azure AI services; comfort across the Microsoft AI stack
• Fluent in both German and English - you will work directly with German-speaking clients and stakeholders
• Leadership experience: you have run complex projects, managed stakeholder alignment, and made strategic decisions under pressure
• This is not a data science role. We are looking for an engineering and delivery leader who builds agentic systems, not someone who models data or trains models from scratch.

At Lead level, demonstrated experience leading technical projects, managing stakeholders, and driving strategic AI initiatives is essential.
